Getting colourful with suspended ceilings

When deciding to install a suspended ceiling, colour probably isn’t the first thing on your mind. You may have resigned yourself to a drab office of grey and beige tones, but that needn’t be the case. If you’re itching to add a splash of something special into your workplace, then take a look at these options:

Mix and match

The beauty of suspended ceilings means that they don’t all need to be one colour because of their tiled nature. This means you can integrate two or more colours and create patterns. Whether you want to opt for a simple chequered design or something a bit more unusual, it’s easy to devise something other than uniform off-white.

Be bold

Lots of offices are using colour to create zones within their workspace, but why limit this to the carpet and furniture? Extend the theme all the way to the ceiling and try bolder blues and reds. Suspended ceilings will give you lots of flexibility to divide the room up into sections however you wish, and tiles can always be swapped or replaced at a later date.

Reflect the light

For a really modern, sleek look, you could use reflective ceiling tiles for a mirrored effect. You might not want a completely mirrored ceiling, but even a few strips of this shiny surface will make your space seem much brighter and bigger, which is great for morale and productivity.
