The advantages of plastering

Here at SLP Interiors Ltd we are best known for our range of impeccable partitions and superb suspended ceilings. However, we also provide a variety of refurbishment services, including plastering. Having your walls plastered offers dramatic benefits. In today’s blog, we’ll take an in-depth look at these benefits and consider how they can help your business or organisation.

1. Improving the appearance of your premises

Plastering your premises’ walls can improve them aesthetically. Plaster can be sculpted or shaped into a wide variety of patterns. Once it has dried, it can also be painted however you like. Using plaster to make your premises more aesthetically pleasing can help your business in two key ways. Firstly, it can improve your employees’ mood and therefore increase their productivity. Secondly, it can encourage customers and clients to spend more time on your premises, thereby increasing the likelihood that they will invest in your business’s products or services.

2. Strengthening your walls

Plastered walls are generally stronger than dry walls. By having your premises’ walls plastered, you can ensure that they last for years without maintenance. Repairing and maintaining walls can cost a substantial amount of money. Avoiding these costs is good for your business because it frees up revenue for other projects. Obviously, plastering your walls will require an initial investment. However, the amount of money it can save your business in the long-run should far outweigh this cost.

3. Getting back to business as quickly as possible

If you need to have your walls refurbished, you may wish to choose a refurbishment option that can be completed quickly. After all, you probably want to minimise disruptions to your business. Plastering is a relatively speedy process compared to other wall-refurbishment options, which makes it ideal for busy enterprises.

If you want to refurbish your walls and plastering sounds like the right option for you, get in touch with us today. Don’t forget, we also supply partitions and suspended ceilings in Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Wells, Gloucester and the south west. Regardless of which of our services or products you’re interested in, we’re always happy to hear from you.

I didn’t know plaster can be painted any color once it’s dry. My sister just moved into a new house that has walls that need work. I’ll have to look into plastering services.

It’s great that this article elaborates on the fact that plastering walls can make them stronger than regular drywalls. My husband and I have been thinking about having our home remodeled and updated. It’s good to know that plastered walls are stronger than drywall.

I’m thankful that you mentioned in your article that it is important to plaster your walls in order to improve the aesthetics of a building. My father was interested in hiring a general contractor to help him out in making his building look more appealing to potential customers. I’ll be sure to send your article to him to help him out!
